Actress Fumika Shimizu said that for the first time in 12 years, she had to cut her hair; ‘I was so lucky to have this valuable opportunity to play Touka Kirishima in the movie Tokyo Ghoul, so I simply had no choice but to do it. I took the plunge and got my hair cut by about 30cm,’ she added.
This is the second visual that came out after they released Ken Kaneki (Masataka Kubota). The live action movie Tokyo Ghoul is rumored to be released in Summer 2017.

And heres a treat, Weekly Young Jump’s issue (that came out on January 26) featured Shimizu in the cafe Anteiku’s uniform as well as in bikinis.
Here's Fumika Shimizu’s Official Comment Regarding Her Hair Being Cut
‘This short haircut is my first one in 12 years since I was a 4th grader in elementary school. Since I’ve had long hair for a long time, it actually feels really weird. However, I was so lucky to get this valuable opportunity to play Touka Kirishima in the movie Tokyo Ghoul, so I simply had no choice but to do it. I took the plunge and got my hair cut by about 30cm. Now I like my short hair very much because I don’t have to spend as much time in the bathroom as I had to before. Also, thanks to this short hair, I felt really comfortable during the practices for the action scenes. Please stay tuned for the movie, Tokyo Ghoul!’
